 Mira & Zvi Teichtahl and R” Paul & Talya Lewin North Shore Synagogue is a welcoming, all-inclusive Modern Orthodox community. Known as the "Garden Synagogue" because of its beautiful surroundings, it was was the first synagogue to be established on Sydney's North Shore, in 1947. With over 850 families in its membership, it still is an integral part of Sydney's Jewish community, over 50 years later.
As well as its regular services, North Shore Synagogue has a Hebrew School, a bar and batmizvah program and regular functions and events to celebrate Jewish holidays and festivals, such as Purim dances, a pre-Pesach Shabbat dinner, a Shavuot Tikkun Leil, and much more.  Pesach Demonstration Seder 2008 Led by Rabbi Paul Lewin, Chazan Zvi Teichtahl and President Sarah Zukerman, the community is happy to welcome any new families or guests to its congregation in the leafy suburb of Lindfield.
